The following tips have been compiled to help you get the most out of your experience.
Remember this is an outdoor festival, so the show goes on - rain or shine!
Tickets are non-refundable.
Purchase tickets in advance online to avoid lines at venue.
We encourage you to bring your own folding chairs, blankets, hats, sunscreen and comfortable shoes.
Chairs may be set up around the perimeter of the balloon field for great viewing!
No pets are allowed in the festival grounds except service dogs.
No outside food or drinks are permitted.
Please note that the festival is a NO DRONE ZONE!
Pop-up canopies are not allowed on the fields.
No smoking on the fields.
Weather permitting, tethered rides will be available for attendees on the main balloon field. Rides will last approximately 5 minutes. Average rides will take you 30-40 feet off of the ground. The charge for tethered rides is $15 adults, $5 children under 12. No unaccompanied children are allowed in balloons.
Any balloon rides must be booked directly with the pilots and are not held in conjunction with The Villages Balloon Festival.
Bring cash - there are many areas where you can only use cash. Although an ATM is available, there may be a long wait – so come prepared with enough cash in hand!
For information concerning parking, please check the Parking Section of our website for updates.
We realize that the Balloons are beautiful - but please do not drive by the event site and stop to view the balloons – Buena Vista Boulevard is a busy thoroughfare! No parking will be allowed on the streets immediately surrounding the event site. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THESE NEIGHBORHOODS – YOU WILL BE TICKETED!
We encourage you to bring your chairs. No outside food, drink or pets are permitted, except service animals. All balloon events are dependent on the weather.
